2012 YLD Updates:
May 10 - YLD Afternoon in the Courthouse CLE - Bay County Courthouse
The Young Lawyers Division presents its annual Afternoon in the Courthouse CLE for new lawyers. 2 1/2 hours of CLE credit available. Speakers will be Clerk of the Court Bill Kinsaul, who will give a tour of the courthouse; Court Technology Officer Gary Hagan who will demonstrate courtroom technology; Alternative Dispute Resolution Director Carol Dunaway, who will speak about the ADR program; local attorney Jay Manuel, who will speak about legal practice and personal injury law; and local attorney Jeff Whitton, who will speak about ethics. Sonny's BBQ will be provided for lunch as part of the cost.
May 24 - YLD Practicing with Professionalism CLE - Wyndham Bay Point Resort
The Young Lawyers Division presents the annual Practicing with Professionalism CLE course. This course is mandatory with the Florida Bar for all new lawyers.
July 1 - President-elect Ted Howell takes over for outgoing President Al Sauline.
